The show used to be: Friday

The Kenny G Spot aired every Friday night from
7:00-9:00 around the UMBC campus on 560AM. To listen to WMBC, you can tune in via the internet from WMBC's web
site. You can also use the links that I provided below:
MP3 - This is adequate for a dial-up connection to the internet.
MP3 - If you are lucky enough to have a really fast connection to the
internet, use this link.
* Please note that you must have a media player that is
capable of playing MP3 files installed on your system for these links to
work. For example, you can download WinAmp for free from their site at http://www.winamp.com/.
I have a huge variety of songs that you can request on my show at 410-455-2656.
You can request anything that you like and I will try my best to either find
that particular song, or at least something very similar to it. If you
want to check out a partial list of what is available, you can use the links
Catalog Search - This is a searchable collection of non-mainstream
artists. There is some good stuff in here, so check it out!
Personal Collection - Organized by artist name, this is a partial collection
of what I bring to my show each week.
NOTE: This is a huge file and may take some time to show up on
Notice About Requests
As you may or may not know,
Congress passed legislation requiring internet radio stations to
pay a fee per song, per listener. So that
WMBC could continue
broadcasting on the internet, not only do we need to cough up about $500 every
semester, we also need to log each and every song played, as well as who was
listening during that time. This means that all
including myself, will need to enter the following mandatory information into
the booth computer about each song played: Artist, Album, Title, Record Label (Columbia,
the length of the track. Because most of the songs in my
personal collection have been downloaded from the internet, I do not have
information such as the recording studio readily available to me.
Therefore, unless you can tell me the information that I lack, I will be unable
to play what you request, even if I have the song right in front of me.
Thank you for your understanding. If you would like more information on
the internet royalty fees, please visit
