Ryan, Megan, and Alex's New England Itinerary
Saturday, August 24, 2012 - Sunday, August 25, 2012

Howdy! It's been a very long time since we last flew into Manchester. In fact, it's been over 7 years! The problem is this: Since we aren't very creative any more, we are going to pretty much repeat that same June, 2005 trip... this time with Alex. At least it'll give him a chance to visit 3 new states, and we'll be able to reminisce about the olden days... Ahh...

Saturday, August 24
Find more about Weather in Mount Washington, NH

Today starts with a crazy-early morning after 3 hours of sleep! Our flight lands in Manchester [1] before we are typically awake on a Saturday - even with Alex! Our flight wasn't supposed to be this early, but Southwest changed their schedule on us. They offered to let us take the next flight out, but that would have been too late, so here we are... Anyway, we are planning to reverse the route of our last trip, this time starting with Maine [2]. We'll cross the state line just to take a picture [3], and then we'll be off to the top of Mount Washington [4] by mid-day. Depending on how long we stay there and where we decide to get lunch, we may or may not visit Franconia Notch State Park, just like last time [5]. From there, it's off to Vermont [6] for another Alex vs. state sign photo op. We might swing by Megan's great-grandparents' old log cabin [7], if it's still daylight. Otherwise, it's off to our hotel in Lebanon [8].

Sunday, August 25
Find more about Weather in Boston, MA
Assuming we aren't completely exhausted, it's another early morning to catch the 8am mass at Sacred Heart [9] in Lebanon. From there, we head to the state capital of New Hampshire in Concord [10]. After that, who knows. One option that came up at the last minute was to visit the city we hate the most: Boston [11]. It turns out that Megan's siblings happen to be in Boston this same weekend, so we might even grab some lunch with family! After that, we'll head back up to Manchester [12] for our flight home. That's all, folks!

Where you at?? We are never 100% on time to our destinations, so we've taken all the guesswork out of figuring out where we are by broadcasting our GPS location, courtesy of Per their rules, you'll need to manually refresh this page to see our latest movements, but so long as we get cell phone signal, you'll be able to see where we are!

And if that's not good enough, we've still got our guesstimated route highlighted below...

Just as before, these are some links where you might be able to track our flight. With all of these sites, be sure to hit refresh (F5) and click 'Retry' as applicable to view the latest information.
