Ryan and Megan's Providence Itinerary
Saturday, February 17, 2007 - Monday, February 19, 2007
Howdy, folks! It's been a while, but now that we've paid
off our honeymoon, it's time to start taking some more trips! This time we are
headed up to New England once again. Let's see, we've been to Albany, Manchester,
and of course, Hartford. Now's it's time to go a bit more east to Providence, Rhode
Island. What's there? I guess we will soon find out! Actually, this trip will take
us through the smallest state in the nation, through Boston, and over to Plymouth.
We should probably take that trip nearer to Thanksgiving rather than in the middle
of winter, but hey, we can beat the crowds! The other half of the weekend will be
spent with Megan's family. Her baby sister is turning the magical age of 21, and we
want to make sure that she is conservative in her drinking habits. Anyway, that's
all - enjoy the itinerary!
All times are local to
the particular city. The entire trip is in Eastern Time, so you don't
have to worry about doing the math if you are anywhere along the east coast!

Saturday, February 17:
We are landing around mid-morning . Unfortunately, Megan has a
group project due in the upcoming weeks, and her classmates decided to
meet around 9am on Saturday. So, as soon as we are off the plane,
she's got to join in a conference line. Boo! In the
meantime, Ryan will be driving North towards Boston, probably going a
little past the big city to check out Northeast Massachusetts .
From there, we will be off to Plymouth to see if there are any
pilgrims hanging out. If not, we'll keep driving towards Cape Cod
. I'm sure there is plenty do to there in the snow! After
a long day, we will head back to Connecticut to Megan's parents' house
Today is going to be spent almost exclusively in Western Connecticut
. Colleen's birthday is the following day, so there might be a
get-together of some sort.
On Monday, we will head back to Providence . Our flight is not
until late in the day, so depending on how much we were actually able to
accomplish on Saturday, we might be taking a short day trip somewhere.
Don't have time to read
all my nonsense? I don't blame you. Just check out the map
